About us:

We are registered with Ofsted for 20 children which is divided between 2 rooms.

Our Seahorses (0-1 years) and Dolphins (1-2 Years) are based together in one room. This room can hold a maximum of 6 children, based on a 1:3 staff: child ratio.

Our Penguins (2-3 years) and Polarbears (3-5 years) are based together in another room. This room can hold a maximum of 14 children. The Penguins are based on a 1:4 staff:child ratio, while the Polarbears are based on a 1:8 staff: child ratio. The Polarbear children can be in a 1:13 staff: child ratio, when that member of staff holds Early Years Professional Status.

Here at Noah's Ark Nursery, we have experienced and qualified staff, ensuring that our exceptional standards are maintained and kept high through the encouragement of professional development throughout a range of training courses and degree opportunities.

Our current staff at Noah's Ark Hebburn include:

• Tracey Hallway who is our Area Manager, and currently holds a level 4 Foundation Degree in childcare
• Penny Weightman who is our Manager, and currently holds a level 4 Foundation Degree in childcare
• Sammy-Jo Bettley who is our Deputy Manager, and currently holds a level 5 Foundation Degree in Education and Care
• Lesley Storey who is our Early Years Professional and Senior, and currently holds a level 6 BA Honors Degree in Early Childhood Studies, as well as achieving Early Years Professional Status
• Stacie Hudson who is our nursery nurse with NVQ level 3
• Kelly Butler who is our nursery assistant with NVQ level 2
